  • 5:30 pm An Evening By the Bay at the United Farmers Market 18 Spring Street.  Silent and live auctions of Arts, Crafts, and Experiences.  Live music by Jonesville, catered Hors d’Oeuvres by Bell the Cat.  Cash Bar.  Proceeds benefit the Belfast Rotary Club’s Legacy Project – new City Park Playground.

Come Boating! will be offering free Harbor Rows to any member of the public on Sunday from 10 to 1.  Anyone interested should come to the Come Boating! boat she near the Harbor Masters building on the Harbor Walk to sign up.  Minors must have a written waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

  • 7:30 – 8:15 am 5K Bug Run Registration Union & Miller Streets
  • 8:30 am 5K Bug Run/Walk.  
  • 10:00 – 11:30 am Live music at the Gazebo: Jonesville
  • 10:00 – 2:00 pm BAHS Kelp Exhibit
  • 11:00 – 2:00 pm Boat Building Demonstration
  • 11:30 – 12:15 pm Front Street Shipyard Tour 101 Front Street
  • 11:00 am – 1:00 pm Come Boating! Regatta 4-mile race in Belfast Bay
  • 11:00 am – 2:00 pm Cardboard Boat Building Center Lawn
  • 11:30 am – 2:00 pm Waldo County Pinewood Derby Race in the Boat House
  • Noon Marshall Wharf Beer Garden (North end of Steamboat Landing (near Hamlin Marine) until 5:00 pm) 
  • Noon – 1:30 pm Live music at the Gazebo:  Anni and the Rainmakers
  • 12:30 – 1:15 pm Front Street Shipyard Tour 101 Front Street
  • 1:45 pm Pinewood Derby Quirk Ford vs. Stanley Chevrolet in the Boat House
  • 2:00 – 4:00 pm Live music under the Center Tent:  Pen Bay Pan (Steel Drum Band)
  • 3:00 – 3:45 pm The Mighty and Humble Dory: History and Musings about this classic Maine workboat by Nicolle Littrell in the Boat House
  • 4:00 – 5:00 pm Schooner Charm Dockside Tours Public Landing

  • 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Come Boating! offers free Harbor Rows.  Sign up at the Come Boating! Boatshed near the Harbor Master’s building.
  • 10:00 am – 12:00 pm Befast Rotary Club Bake Sale (Boat House)

Cardboard Boat Challenge (at the Boat House).  Sponsored by the Belfast Parks and Recreation Department and Front Street Shipyard.

  • 10:00 am Boats arrive, register, and sign a liability waiver
  • 10:30 am Public display and voting for People’s Choice Award.  Boat Judging.
  • 10:45 am Boaters and crew meet with officials to go over the rules followed by a parade.
  • 11:00 am Races begin by category.  The Awards Ceremony follows the final heat of the races.
  • Noon: Habitat for Humanity Lobster Gala.  
  • 12:00 – 3:00 pm Live music at the Gazebo:  Anni and the Rainmakers
  • Noon Marshall Wharf Beer Garden (North end of Steamboat Landing (near Hamlin Marine) until 4:00 pm)
